The following weekly drop-in meditation sessions are open to anyone interested in practicing mindfulness meditation. They provide guided secular meditations led by experienced mindfulness meditators, including teachers from the Ann Arbor Center for Mindfulness. For all levels of experience – beginners, as well as experienced meditators, who want to reinforce their practice. Saline Open Meditation
TUESDAYS, 11–12 pm

This free weekly drop-in is appropriate for beginners and experienced meditators. After an initial guided 20-minute sitting, a short reading from Jon Kabat-Zinn is read and discussed. The drop-in closes with a brief sitting in any remaining time. Chairs available; bring your own cushion if you prefer.

"Being in Tune" Community Meditation

Please join us for a weekly 30-minute mindfulness meditation in the warm, inviting environs of The Ark. Teachers from AACFM rotate leading each week. Chairs are available. Bring your own cushion if you prefer. No sits on May 16, July 4, or July 18, 2017. Otherwise we will be there!

Cancer Support Community Meditation

This weekly drop-in is appropriate for beginners and experienced meditators. We predominantly teach mindfulness techniques with some concentration and loving kindness meditation. There are two 20-minute sittings – the first is guided and the second may be silent, with time in-between for short discussion and questions.
