Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Fall 2023 Virtual Classes

We are offering two MSBR classes this Fall. Both classes are virtual, highly interactive, and experiential.

MBSR is the original mindfulness class developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn and is the class studied in most of the research. Participating in MBSR is associated with reductions in stress, pain, depression, anxiety, and chronic unhappiness. MBSR started the current wave of mindfulness-based strategies for coping with a wide range of human struggles.

The class focuses on practicing mindfulness—compassionate awareness of the present moment—in the class and between classes with recommended home practices.
